hate you. hate you so much. (just joking - really fantastic, please continue, k? ignore me; it's the jealousy talking XD)
I really want to start making sequential art, I have both the writing and illustration skills, but I find drawing scenery and backgrounds to be difficult. Do you have any tips you could give to help me get my ideas of the ground?
I used shots of Istanbul for these BB pages. Not to copy, but to study and gain an understanding of the type of environment I was trying to render.
Do the same!
This is because I usually add a little haze over backgrounds to make the foregrounds pop, and doing everything on the same layer would be a chore.
