Dunno if you intended it this way or not, but I noticed "You've almost GOT it" carries into "I've almost "HAD it"". Is he intentionally misquoting?

Not trying to grammar nazi or anything, was just wondering and figured I'd point it out if it was something you maybe missed. Love your stuff as always.

just a matter of tense, I think. "got it" is present tense for the present effort, "had it" is past tense including five years of prior efforts.

I suppose re-reading it that makes perfect sense. In my mind I was including his "almost" in the quotation, which in my mind would have made more sense to use "got" along with it in a 3-word quote. But only referring to the two, you're certainly right.
