I’ve been doodling redesigns for the characters from the old Cosgrove Hall series “Danger Mouse”.
Silas Greenback was the titular character’s nemesis, and was always accompanied by his loyal caterpillar, Nero.

He looks really sinister. The redesign somewhat reminds me of creepy Leon Powalski from StarFox. (I know he's a chameleon and not a toad, but it's the eyes, man...)
