Castle Coch 03 by jollyjack Castle Coch 03 by jollyjack
Castle Coch (pronounced "cosh") in South-East Wales.
One of my favourite castles. I last visited it back in the 90s.
Though built on the ruins of an authentic fortification, what you see today is a "summer home", built by the 3rd Marquess of Bute in the late 19th century and designed by William Burges, who was also the architect of Cardiff Castle's impressive 19th century overhaul.

This looks just like one of the castle courtyards in Oblivion but I can't remember which one.

That's really, really awesome. It reminds me of the 1970's "MacBeth" movie.

Amazing photograph of a splendid castle. Thank you for sharing your travel pictures.

If you come to France, you should visit the La Roche-Guyon castle. It combines three epoch: a Middle Age dungeon built into the mountain, a XVIIIth century main building and WW II bunkers also built into the mountain.
