A roman legion was basically a mincing machine made out of humans.

You might laugh at how small their swords are, but when it's sticking into your gut you won't laugh anymore.

The reason they wore their swords on the right was so they didn't have to reach across their bodies to draw the swords, makes sense since that offers a chance for someone to chop your arm off.

That's a bloody amazing picture.
