I never buy a comic if the cover has been drawn by a high-profile 'superstar' artist and the interior is by someone else. If the creators have felt they need to try and dupe people into buying it, it probably isn't worth my time (or precious shelf-space!).

this makes me think of some online game advertisements...the flashy adverts have absolutely NOTHING in common with the in-game art...some are so overdone i feel like they spent more money/time/effort on the adverts than on the game itself!

case in point: Maplestory. the adverts are as flashy as some Dragonball Z scenes-but the actual game? it looks more like the original Super Mario!

Well Spaz is one thing seeing as Tracy Yardly does the insides of Sonic these days but yeah I look inside first on any comic I buy.

what if both the different artists are good? i've lucked into such scenarios on a fair number of occasions. but under normal circumstances, i abide by the same philosophy. excellent form, my good sir :iconisayplz:
