Revised version of Fletch.
I ditched the "Usagi Yojimbo" bound-together ears ([link] - they were crap) and gave him a ponytail instead,

Fletch is a failed mage (or priest - it's yet to be fully explored) turned mercenary.

I think it would be anatomically impractical to have ears on the back of your head like that. IMHO, they should have their roots were human ears are and then go up at a 45 degree angle or more with the cup shape facing forward.

gotta say i liked the ears-ponytail version better, thought it was very creative, albeit a bit unusual. but i suppose this image is more likely to suit the personality of a failed-mage-turned-mercenary that the mind immediately conjures, although it might ignore any other possibilities.

although i think it would be pretty cool if one of the ears was a bit torn up (and the lack of a bow???)
