For the uninformed (or disinterested) Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy, has concluded Hellboy in Hell, and has quit comics altogether.
I'm of the opinion that Mignola lost interest in the character shortly after the first film came out. Ever since then, his work on the comic has felt more and more phoned-in, with #10 of Hellboy in Hell being as limp and rushed an ending as you can get. Nothing is answered. None of the plot threads or mysteries raised across the course of the series are wrapped up. It just ends, making the whole journey we took to get here feel completely pointless.
