I recently started playing this again. The graphics haven't aged well at all, and yet the game is still a blast.

I honestly look forward to a continuation of the series...

Meybe even include the possibility of capital ship to capital ship battle.
(I know it can be enabled in XWA but tweaking one of the .ini files)

Another older game Starshatter: The Gathering Storm is also pretty good. Although it is more simulation than arcade

I remember this, bought that and the X wing vs Tie fighter games.

Besides making the tie fighters out of the cheap balsa wood, you could also be hit by teammates and its game over. Cringe in fear when the A wings came along.

Later on, you could graduate to more powerful ships.

Great guide.
