some questions:
Gusset-shot?
So Dante plays slower than Nero?
The boss was set to a lower difficulty?
What the fekking hell is the point of the board game part, seriously? *heard complaints from friend who played game*

I'm hearing alot of the same points Yahtzee made.
I'll have to play it with my expectations adjusted accordingly.

When I saw player Brick, I had a twisted fear that this game included Resident Evil 2's Tofu.

I knew it was crap from the first game in the series ... which I only bought cos i was extremely bored and had played everything else... Gunstar heroes was awesome tho... I loved that game.

That... was rather informative. I now must question my want to play. I love the Devil May Cry games, and I was weary with Nero being the main character, so now, with this... thoroughly weary and doubting my motivation to actually go and get it now...
