All this is true, which is why Tomb Raider: Anniversary is so awesome! Exploration-style gameplay combined with more complex actions (not to mention higher-resolution... bump-maps. ^^;)

I remember the Tomb Raider games were actually part of my first set of PS1 games. To this day though I have never fully completed one without cheating.

Pretty good, yet the last frame I disagree on. The Anniversary series is imo the best Tomb Raider game ever made.

Amazingly, I've never played a single Tomb Raider game... I recall watching a friend's brother expounding the virtues - he had a HUGE poster of her on the wall... and a calendar, how he got married we may never know - but it never seemed that interesting.
