A pic from the early stages of production on Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.
At that point of production it’s a case of “Draw a lot of stuff and see what sticks”.
A lot doesn’t, but there are quite a few unused images and designs that I really quite liked, including this one.

It's my initial take on the games factory at the heart of Showdown Town.

LOVE THIS! ive heard nuts and bolts steered almost completely away from the original. barely, if at all, no platforming. -sigh- its the cancer that's killing Rare.or what was of it. good work.doesn't make the game look as bad anymore lol.

Ever see Howl's Moving Castle? If not, you should. Anyway this drawing reminded me of Howl's castle, a mismatch of stuff that some how works together. Very cool.
