One of the first American comics I ever bought was an issue of Witchblade.
Before that, the only comics I’d read were things like Tintin and Asterix.
The late Mr Turner’s artwork was certainly something different by comparison, and I’ve held it in high regard ever since.

I couldn't believe it when I first heard the news.
Heck, I can't even believe it right now.

There was a period of a few years when I stopped reading comics, but seeing Micheal Turner's artwork on Witchblade brought me back into the fold. And when he left I followed his work onto Fathom.

I even picked up a few issues of JLA because of his cover work.

I know a lot of people criticised his work, and his anatomy, but I never saw it that way. It was his style, and it worked!

He will definitely be missed.
