Artist's Comments

I should play around with my pencil work a bit more.
Using a soft lead rather than ink to finish a piece (plus additional darkening through photoshop) seems to have a nice effect. It also retains a bit of the dynamism of the sketch that’s usually lost during inking.

True, I always like using pencil over ink, inking can give you more bold lines and better lights and darks, but pencils can give you better shadings than you can get with ink.

We make the dragons as we make the gods, because we need them, because somewhere deep in our hearts, we recognize that a world without them is a world not worth living in.

Very nice pencil work! ^_^
I always dread the ink slage in my own work. Have you tried using a brush?

I know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
