I draw smaller heads on some characters to make them look bulkier/bigger.
A practice I'm not about to stop, regardless of how many people comment on it.

(BTW: Describing back to the artist exactly what he has drawn is a waste of time. "Her head is small" - yes. I know this. I drew it. You want to comment on it; type an opinon or something.)

My personal 'style' is to go for proportionate. I would personally make these big women have bigger heads, but that's just me. You have to do what you have to do.

Ugh, seriously; we're talking about proportions; how else are you supposed to get them across? I mean yes, a tall/strong person can have the same proportions as a short/slim person, but hey; this makes it quicker and in comic terms does make the transition smoother.
I think the character also benefits more from perspectives if you add exaggerations like this.

And lastly; your style, your rules, no one else's business.

that's how you should do it. little heads DO let the figure look ... stronger.
not every body is the same, dudes. You can't draw 12 chars with all the same proportions.
