Artist's Comments

The British Museum is of a traditional design, in that it's a square building with a grand, central courtyard.
This was recently (well, within the last 10 years or so) covered and turned into a more functional space.
It now looks a wonderfully weird cross between old and new.

I've never been the first one to comment on your stuff but it's good. Also, like the pics of your recent adventure. It's nice to see soem of us can get out of our parents' basements once in awhile.

My first thought was "hey I remember that area in Hellgate:London". ThenI immediately felt like an enormous, uncultured nerd.

Then I remembered I was American which makes the above acceptable.

Hey, I've been there, they have a small cafe at the top of the stairs there. Though when I went the place was packed with people.

It's a fine piece of architecture. I especially love the pattern of that glass roof!

I love the Great Hall. It's got such a wonderful light quality to it. It makes me feel so happy to be there on a sunny day!
