My favorite picture of VG. She looks ready to battle, and looks spunky without also seeming completely naive or cutesy. The billowing cape is a nice touch, and the way the shadows stretch is neat. I'm not entirely sure that having her forefront cast in shadow was the best move, if only because it makes me wonder what's going on off-panel intead of admiring the character herself. But, maybe that's part o the point: it implies that something impressive is happening.
On a more serious note though while I find it makes sense for Vicky to start to branch out since she is still in her teens (or I think she is :confused). I hope Jack will still make her a strong, independent woman protagonist. Though I like how Vicky's normal romantic and social were touched upon last issue. Being born as part of a caste of people raised to be superheroes is bound to be tough.
