Perhaps there IS such a thing as giving the players too much freedom.
Take, for example, the character creation and costume tailoring of Saints Row 2. Abuse of such variation by players of lower moral fibre is almost assured, with their avatars invarably being dressed up in absurdly skimpy clothing....who would then be made to straddle high powered motorbikes.....in the rain...... *ahem* ....what was I saying? |
