What? UNIT made an appearance in the recent Dr. Who? If that is the case, did they even mention or did Brigadeer Stewart make a showing?

His character was one of my favorites!

Heh.
But UNIT doesn't have Will Smith, and that's what really matters.

Just kidding. That episode was a good one (I get to cheat; I know a guy who knows a guy who downloads 'em so I can watch about two weeks before everybody else here gets to).
I hope Donna's granddad is ok.

I'd be surprised if he did.
I seem to remember him making a cameo in the Sylvester McCoy years (late 1980s). The character had retired from the military....and the actor looked a little creaky....
