Starting today, and leading up to issue #4 of the Chimera arc, previous installments of Little Victory are being made available for purchase in a digital format, alongside the hardcopies (both past and future. I'm not going digital-only).
I'd originally intended to do this only at the end of the series' hardcopy run, but due to soaring postage costs (I think Indyplanet ship their comics internationally one at a time....on a unicorn) and the increased acceptance of ebooks, it'd be daft to wait.

Bonus material, such as sketchbook pages and the back cover pin-ups, will remain exclusive to the hardcopy version.

Little Victory: Children of Arras is the first up. Little Victory: Chimera #1 will be added next week.

Coolness.  I'd already bought everything, but hopefully this will spread Little Victory to even more potential customers.

I've looked myself, but to no avail, JJ, any idea how to gift eBooks on Lulu?

Argh! Now I gotta decide between continuing to get the hard copies for a fortune or getting them quick and digitally but without the behind the scenes stuff and epic back cover art. :saddummy: Will the complete hard copy edition include all the extra stuff? If so maybe I will buy the digital issues from now on and then get the complete series in hard copy. Gimme - 13 NaNoEmo #3

I have so much respect for your dedication to run some many projects on so many scales and the same time. Seriously.

And here I was hoping that #4 was available.  I'll stick with my hard copies.  Nothing wrong with digital, I'm just old fashioned.

I'm very happy to hear this. Shipping to my address in Canada costs upwards of 20$ per order, so getting the comics one-at-a-time as they came out would be 140$+ on shipping alone for the 7-part Little Victory series.

I bought 5 Harley Quinn comics on Comixology today and had bought Allie Brosh's book for Kindle last week, also full of images.

I like being able to get stuff without having to pay for the shipment. I do have an iPad so I can read any kind of digital comic or book comfortably. And cheap.

Bought and read.
Good start, I'll check out the next book when its put out next week.
I'm glad you have made this story available digitally.
With the costs of shipping, the chances of me ever buying the printed copy are slim to none.
It is sad that back matter (sketches, pin-ups, etc.) will not be in the digital copies, but you do what you got to do to get the physical books selling.

I'll still be buying a hard copy and having it shipped to the colonies, but I might partake of the digital offerings. I mean, I buy your other digital offerings already. :porn:

That's pretty cool. The Shipping costs from the US to EU jumped to crazy heights in recent years, unfortunately, so it's a good move - I do wonder tho what kind of DRM you'll use - and if I'll be able to use my Android tablet to read the comics on it.

I wish there WAS a DRM I could use that didn't make things hard for people who actually want to support the comic.
There isn't.

Hmm... Well, I suppose piracy can't really be avoided. :/ I know the Dreamkeeper's guys had some success using Comixology, but I am not sure how well that actually is working - and it still kind of limits people in some ways - thankfully, most devices you'd want to read a comic on are supported (Windows, Browser, Android, iOS) - But yeah, I know what you mean. I actually stopped buying comics in a few places because their DRM systems where just so horrible (Like installing a online-verification tool that ran in the background, auto-started and blanked out all screen-capture functions with a white screen, even when no comic was being displayed)

This is good. But I think it's still much better that you're still doing print. I'd hate to see everything go digital just because it can.

That's great news for me. The shipping costs of hardcopies comics to my country/province(the cold and dark french canadian wastelands of Quebec <.<; ) is possibly the main reason I hadn't ordered the traditional books yet :(

The digital copies interested me right up until the point that you mentioned they would be missing material (albeit optional extra material).  Now I can't buy them without feeling like I'm missing something.  My loss, I know and probably just a personality quirk on my part.

What are the chances of you selling all of Little Victory in a collected format? If one has to donate to some Kickstarter/Indiegogo drive, I'd be more than willing to do so. Just curious!

Unicorn delivery is not all it's cracked up to be.
I mean, it was neat at first, but having to read around a horn hole in the center of everything they deliver gets trying after awhile.

I'm not sure if they're able to accept UK submissions or UK distribution, but if they do You should definitely get Little Victory on ComiXology.

My books are on there and I love how they look.

... plus I'd love to be reading your books with the rest of my digital collection at a touch of a button...

I'm kinda curious, are you going to try and do that motionbook stuff?  Love to make some comics with it myself, but waiting for that tool to come out is turning into a wait for HL3.

Yay! Also not yay!. I love your stuff and up until recently I had copies of everything you'd put out in hard copy and a few you'd only done in digital but LV #3 postage made me wince in agony. So at least I can read up. I'd still prefer the hard copy mind... I'm a traditionalist like that. Mebbe when I'm rich and famous :)
