"Your deviation Sonic Screw(driver) was reported for Explicit Pornography. The report was reviewed by a member of the Staff and action was taken, deleting the deviation and marking the report as Resolved.

Additionally, the following comment was provided:
A member of staff has reviewed this deviation and has determined that the theme itself, or one or more details present in the scene, has made the work unacceptable for submission here.

As such this deviation has been removed in accordance with our policies and should not be resubmitted."

"Explicit Pornography"?! Aw, jeez, guys. You must have the worst collection of porn on the planet to think that was explicit.
A 90s Rochelle Swanson outing was more explicit that that pic, and that stuff got aired, uncut, on terrestrial UK TV (god bless you Channel 5, you made the young Jack jolly).
I believe that, for something to be labelled "explicit", SOMETHING must be visibly going in SOMEWHERE. Such was not the case in the offending image, even on the Tom-Baker-Free version!

This once happened to my friend who posted a nude pic of Amy rose. He even said in his description that she's over 18 years old, but that didn't stop staff members of dA to suspended him for that. I honestly don't understand what is a point of posting pics of vagina's and dicks on them and tag them as nude? I thought this deviantART not deviantPORN. When I reported to one group who is dealing with this sort of crap, they hide my comment and tell me that there is no use to report it when it's not breaking the rules? :o dA should seriously need to rework on their rules, personally I think that posting pictures of dicks and vagina's is not art at all, if You want to post something like that, go to a website who is dedicated for that. I can very well understand your anger.
I am also very mad for that DA removes something that is not pornographic, since there are so many real pornographic images on this site - where you can see snapshots of vagina's, breasts, penises...and this for me is NOT art. :disbelief:

Which knucklehead reported that picture? As long as a "pornographic picture" has a mature tag on it, I'm cool with it. And there is worst porno picture on this website that they don't take care of. And your pornographic pictures are probably not even noted as REAL HARDCORE porn to others that get reported.

People in that staff can be real *** heads...

is there another location where this "BAD and OFFENSIVE" piece of Art Work can be found? So that I, with my own eyes may judge the Art Work and see if  "I"  find it offensive also.

I can very well understand your anger, thus happened to many of my images.
I am also very mad for that DA removes, since there are so many real pornographic images on this site - where you can see snapshots of vaginas, breasts, penises...and this for me is NOT art.

Drawn images are million times better then porn photography (snapshot photos of naked people)!

Wow, so that's what happened to it. I was putting my art in specific collections and then realize. "Where's mah Chloe Zig Jam?" not finding it, I popped her to look, saw a hotdog donut doing the nasty and looked for a chuckle and here I am, reading one of the most idiotic reason to remove a fun picture.

We'll just have to be MORE explicit in the next picture, that will make sure it stays posted. :)

Try to have fun out there.

This bugs me, who has the right to tell you what is art and what is trash?! i have seen some photos on this site that were much more "Explicit" than anything i have ever seen you put up, yet these are art. I'm not saying i think the photos should be considered trash, but i think we all need to back off our high horses about being offended. if you don't like something, leave a note that say hey, this offends me, and never look at the persons page again, problem solved.

(TL;DR) Can't we all just get along

I guess the sonic screwdriver must have been deemed too phallic? Considering how well (and humorously) you self-censor your work, I'm surprised they would have found any other reason to deem it "explicit".

If they call THAT explicit, why don't they do something about actual explicit material that CLEARLY isn't art, but is 'safe' because it is in the "mature" section..

Looking at the original pic I must say that reason must be pics ''censure''. Not the actual, uh... Act. DA does not like its artistic nude pics censored.

Wait, what? random people take pictures of their dicks and/or vaginas all the time and post them on deviantART as "artistic nude". Isn't that explicit? Why don't the admins try to cut down on all that and leave the genuine art alone, pornographic or not?

I'll never understand the DAdmins rules on porn. I see pictures showing dildos everywhere in some people's galleries, but a few years ago I got a two week "ban" from posting ANYTHING here on DA because of a bit of story mentioning one by name only that wasn't even USED in the story.

And meanwhile, I'm constantly barraged by attempts to convince me to PAY for this arbitrariness? 2 accounts for the price of 1 is at least one accounts cost TOO MUCH. :P

DA is retarded in that because that pic was nothing compared to the pics I see on a daily basis when I log into DA. I srsly see more tits, ass, and vag, even wanker in these so called "artistic" nude pics that DA allows to be posted all over the place than I do in ur art work that u post here. Srsly talk about getting ur priorities straight =_=;

They only act on what gets reported. That's what happens when you have a skeleton crew running a site with an average of 10k new users a day.
That said, how does what you say justify crying about getting caught? Does having 11 million page views somehow make someone beyond the rules?

I believe you misunderstand: I am not Jollyjack.

However, I would point out, again, that the original image, even the uncensored one (still) available elsewhere, is not a violation of DA rules.

Which Jollyjack (and my) ultimate point: The rules are not consistently enforced, even when they are reported. If a moderator likes an image, they can overlook it. If they don't like an image, art style, what have you, they can bend the rules and kill it.

While I can't say I liked the image that was deleted, even I agree that it wasn't explicit in anyway. And yet, cam pics of some girl's yoo-hoo are considered "artistic-photography." I just love the way DA bends it's own rules.

Not that it's likely to accomplish anything, but it'd be funny if you made a poll here asking people whether they saw the image and thought it was explicit, just to get a general idea of what the prudish nutjob percentage is around here.
